A major part of modern architecture and home design is the use of art instead of artefacts. Now, not all artwork goes well in modern styling. To be specific most modern artworks however can play a part.
Let’s look at what can and cannot be used as part of modern architecture.
Those made from bronze or marble and not too large can definitely play a major part in modern interior design. The design should be subtle and have rougher edges rather than a polished more intricate finishing.
If you wish to hang canvases, then make sure it is more abstract and filled with lines or geometric patterns. This goes well with a modern styling.
For photographs or pictures, framing them in simple wood or even metal frames is always a good practice. Prefer sticking with photographs that are not too colorful or bright since neutrals play a heavy role in modern design.
